Color-Rich Dyed Polystyrene and Carboxylate-Modified Microparticles
OptiBind PS and OptiLink CM microparticles are dyed to create the Color-Rich product line. Color-Rich manufacturing methods provide exceptional colour saturation, prevent dye leaching in aqueous media and leaves the surface free for covalent coupling or hydrophobic adsorption of your proteins of choice. The dyed Color-Rich microparticles retain the same superior sensitivity, reproducibility and performance as the non-dyed OptiBind and OptiLink versions. Proprietary particle designs and a unique internal dyeing process employed in the manufacture of Color-Rich particles results in intensely dyed microparticles available in blue, red, black and yellow with immunologically-reactive surfaces suitable for covalent or hydrophobic attachment of ligands
These particles have been specially designed and are ideal for diagnostic rapid assay (membrane-based) applications, slide agglutination tests and hemagglutination assays. Standard packaging is 15 mL, 100 mL and 1000 mL at 2.5% solids.

Fluoro-Max Fluorescent Carboxylate-Modified Microparticles
The Fluoro-Max microparticles produce exceptionally brilliant fluorescence due to the use of unique dyes and proprietary microparticle formulations. Fluoro-Max fluorescent particles are made by dyeing OptiLink CM particles with europium chelate and are available in standard 0.1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.3 mm and 0.4mm diameters. Internal dyeing of the particles ensures maximum saturation, prevents dye leaching in aqueous media and leaves the surface free for easy one-step coupling of proteins. These particles have been specifically designed for membrane and automated fluorometric-based applications.
The extremely broad Stokes shift helps prevent nonspecific fluorescence interference. The Fluoro-Max microparticles can be illuminated and detected with epifluorescence, fluorescent microscopes, fluorescent spectrophotometers or fluorescent cell sorters. Fluroro-Max particles excite at 360nm and emit at 620nm.
The Fluoro-max microparticles are ideal for applications such as fluorometric clinical diagnosis, immunohistological studies and flow cytometry. Standard packaging is 1 mL, 5 mL, 15 mL, and 100 mL at 1% solids.
