IS-CHO Media Range
These serum-free media formulations
are optimized to promote long-term,
high density growth of CHO cells and excellent expression levels of
recombinant proteins
IS-CHO™, which contains bovine-derived components, is appropriate for G-418 and dhfr selection systems and features rapid adaptation from serum-containing media; IS-CHO-V™ provides comparable performance to IS-CHO without human or mammalian-derived components and is selective for dhfr transfection. IS-CHO-V-GS™ is also free of human or mammalian-derived components and is designed for use in the glutamine synthetase selection system. IS CHO-CD is a chemically-defined medium containing no animal components hydrolysates, L-Glutamine or Hypoxanthine. All media formulations in the IS-CHO range undergo rigorous performance testing to ensure consistent high levels of cell growth and protein expression.
