Serum-Free Media Formulations
HB-101 serum-free media was designed to support the growth of murine and human hybridomas, myelomas, lymphoblastoid cells, SP2/0 hybrids, P3 hybrids, some NS-1 cell lines, endothelial cells and murine cell hybrids. The protein concentration is approximately 780mg/mL. Hybridoma cell growth in HB-101 media has been shown to exceed that obtained in RPMI + 2% FBS. Antibody production of hybridomas grown in HB-101 was shown to be equivalent or in some cases better than levels obtained in RPMI + 2% FBS.
HB104 serum-free media was designed to support the growth of human hybridomas, human myelomas, lymphoblastoid cells, human T-cells, human B-cells, lymphocytes and LAK cells. The protein concentration is approximately 780mg/mL. Hybridoma cell growth in HB-104 media has been shown to be equivalent or in some cases better than levels obtained in RPMI + 2% FBS. Antibody production of hybridomas grown in HB-104 was shown to be 700% - 800% greater than levels obtained in RPMI + 2% FBS.
